Is this a place for real advice or just a meeting group for the Schmucks of America?

It might not be great advice but it is helpful to see that there are other people out there with the same issues. Is it really your duty to put down something that may be making someone else feel better? Sometimes ppl need to talk about things with ppl they will never meet so that they don't feel like they are going to be judged. Why don't you find something more constructive to do with your time.
