How can i make an elephant mouse?

This for all you creative types out there. If you have seen Dinner for Schmucks you know that Steve Carell dresses up mice as different things. Well, i want to make a mouse dressed up as an elephant. Anyone have any ideas on how i could do this or where i could find things to make this? I know it sounds funny, but i really want to make one.
